The Prince Of My Dreams..!!
“You have to cross this forest and face all the difficulties that you may encounter in order to meet your prince.”
She remembers each and every word that the old lady told her at the castle. These words motivated her to travel all the way to the forest and she was ready to face any difficulty as well. The forest was scary but her desire to meet the prince of her dreams made her fearless.
As she approached the entrance of the forest, there was a black cat, it remained in front of as if stopping her to enter the forest. She tried to shoo it away but the cat remained steadfast and did not pass. There was a rock on the ground, she picked it up and threw it towards the cat and ultimately, it ran away. The journey was challenging but she was ready for it.
Tall and shady trees were intimidating her. She told herself:
“I will not look at anything.”
She looked right in the foreground and avoided glancing at anything that would make her scared. Suddenly, something dropped on her neck. It began crawling. She thought:
“No need to panic! I can do this!”
Gently, she worked her hand towards the object that was crawling on her neck.
“I will quickly grab it and throw it away,” she whispered
She clutched the object in her hand and tossed it away without even looking at it. Later, she gathered the courage and looked at it, it was a spider! A large, scary, mighty spider! She was terrified and started walking rapidly. The mountain was now in the sight.
“Just a little more time and effort and I will be there!”
She was swiftly marching but abruptly something held on to her feet and she fell off on the ground. An enormous man with curly long hair and broad eyes was standing in front of her. He had a hair-raising outlook and stared at her with rage.
“I would not let you go any further. If you throw me on the ground once then I would not be able to stop you.”
She kept lying on the ground and heard the man in disbelief. Sparse ideas took over her mindset but she had to make a quick decision. The man was not doing anything but stood there as if waiting for her to make a move so that he can take any action. She grabbed onto some of the mud from the ground and threw it on the man's face. The mud blinded the man for a few seconds and she began pushing him on the ground but failed. Until this time she had realised that the man was very dense and it was very tough to push him on the ground so she devised a plan to do so! She piled up rocks & stones right in front of the man as he was unable to see anything, she screamed:
“There is a snake right behind you, run!!”
As the man tried to run, he tripped on to the rocks & stones and fell on the ground. Now she was free to move ahead with the journey.
“There shouldn't be any more of drama in this journey.”
Just when the forest was about to close and mountain inaugurated, there was an omnipotent lion who was resting there.
“You have to cross this forest and face all the difficulties that you may encounter in order to meet your prince,” she remembered.
The lion was resting right on the foot of the mountain.
“I have to wait until it goes or I have to deviate his attention somewhere else.”
She couldn't go any further so she went back into the forest. She sat under a tree, thinking about the possibilities of getting on with her journey. A loud and frightening roar left her with goosebumps.
“This is impossible. I can't do this!”
The old woman appeared in front of her.
“Nothing is impossible. I told you that the journey will be difficult and dangerous but if you want to meet the prince of your dreams, you have to pass through this test. I am here to give you a hint, make the magical lion disappear if you put a flower in front of it. As soon as you place the flower, the lion will turn into a goat and run away. Your task is to find a flower in this forest.” the old woman disappeared again.
She scanned around to see if the old woman was still there but could not locate her.
“A flower? In this forest? How would I found a flower here?”
She started looking around, walked encompassing the forest but could not find a flower, after looking around for a while, she returned under the tree where she had met the old lady.
“I can't give up!”
Suddenly, she saw a monkey that was blankly watching her then it began running. She followed, the monkey paused under a tree that smelled astonishing.
“I must look around. The fragrance signifies that there are some flowers around.”
She went near the monkey and a beautiful pink flower fell on her from the tree. The monkey ran away. After taking the flower, the biggest task was to gather the nerve to put it in front of the lion. The lion was still napping, she reached in front of him and suddenly it yawned. This scene was very frightening so she moved two steps back.
“Oh dear Lord! That looks so scary but I have to do it and I will.”
The abrupt rush of adrenaline made her go further and put the flower in front of the lion. As the old lady had predicted, after a few seconds of keeping the flower in front of the lion, it transformed into a goat and ran away. She took a sigh of relief and started to ascend the mountain. The mountain was muddy and many times, she slipped off but after several attempts, she finally made it to the top.
She could see a big throne and someone was sitting on it. The man was wearing clothes made out of leaves and an exquisite crown on his head. Although she couldn't recognise clearly but the face was familiar. With more determination, she almost ran towards the throne because, obviously, he was the prince of her dreams according to the old lady. As she went nearer to the man, his face began getting apparent. She reached near the throne and exclaimed with utter disgust:
“Sir Elton?”
The man looked at her with sheer hatred and his face began dimming.
“Wake up! Wake up! This is a classroom, you have been sleeping throughout the class. This is extremely unbearable, get out of my class and you are rusticated for the rest of the week!”
She rubbed her eyes and Sir Elton was standing in front of her. He looked evidently angry as he screamed. After a few seconds, she discerned that she had been sleeping in the maths class
“I was about to meet the prince of my dreams but I never thought that he would be my maths teacher!” she laughed off, left the classroom and did not return for the next whole week.
