Coincidental love. (FINALE)

Mahek's father became Ali's fan. The way he managed
to bring Mehek home in such difficult circumstances was really commendable. He was determined to get Mehek married to Ali and was discussing the same with his wife when Mehek overheard them. She was stunned.
Mehek did not understand whether to be happy or depressed, happy because Ali was a gentleman who protected her and brought her home safely but in just a day she got acquainted with a few bad habits of Ali as well such as his egoistic attitude and stubbornness. She started thinking that maybe it was fate that because of the riots, she came to know about Ali and their relationship that was being arranged by the elders. But the question endured in her mind, Was Ali also aware of the relationship that was being arranged between them? Perhaps all this was just a selfish act?

As soon as the university is re-opened, Mehek got diligent with studies. Whenever she spotted Ali anywhere in the University, she would think about confronting him but then she would change her mind. One day she was sitting in the university ground with her friends and class fellows. She had told Maryum about Ali but she didn't recognize him. Ali came there and said:

"I want to talk to you! "

As Mehek's friends did not recognize Ali, they were surprised to see him. Mehek rose up and left aside with Ali and said:

"Say?"

She thought maybe Ali wanted to tell her the truth that he knew about their relationship being arranged by the families. Mehek was quietly looking at his face very carefully because she felt that she could identify the truth and lies by people's facial expressions. Ali observed her behaviour to be unusual and said:

"That day you had paid the bill for the food we had at the dhaba so I came to return the money. Take these 300 rupees. On that day, the bill was about 400 rupees and I am sure that I ate more than you so I should pay a greater share in the bill. So keep these 300 rupees from me. "

"You are actually very liable."

Mehek kept the money and quietly they started seeing each other. Each one of them wanted the other to commence the conversation.

After silence, Mehek said:

"Anything else?"

Ali nodded his head and hastened to go. This time Mehek stopped him and asked:

"Did you know that my father knows your father?"

Ali returned and came to her and said:

"No, that day, I got to know about this from uncle, why?"

She leaned forward to see his face clearly. Ali felt uncomfortable and said:

"What are you doing?"

She stepped a little backward and said:

"Are you telling the truth?"

"Why would I lie? Well, I'm going to have my class. I'll see you later"

"When?"

"Whenever you say."

With a witty smirk on his face, Ali left.
