Fish: A must have food item for winters.

Image
Recently, I found my grandmother's old handwritten recipe book. There were tons of recipes that she used to cook and I thought that I would share some of them through my blog. So here's the first recipe that I am going to share, fried fish. As the winters are coming up, fish is everyone's favourite thing to have in a chilly night. This recipe is very simple but it tastes amazing. Fishes extremely healthy and loaded with Vitamin B2 and omega fatty acids. It is a great comfort food that also protects the heart. It lowers the blood pressure and according to some studies, it may even help in treating depression and diabetes. Making this recipe once in a while would be a treat for the whole family. Ingredients 2 kg fish Half cup fresh yoghurt 2 lemons 2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon crushed or grounded chillies 2 teaspoon ajwain 2 tbsp crushed ginger and garlic paste 1 tablespoon Garam Masala Gram flour Method Step 1: Before washing the fish, sprinkle salt a

Ahmed Shah: The newest internet sensation.

Image
Ahmed Shah who is a kid from apparently is setting the internet on fire. Numerous memes and his videos are being shared all over the internet. In the video that went viral initially, he was misbehaving with the teacher. Clearly, his tone and voice were very displeasing and socially unacceptable to be used with a teacher. His bad behaviour was propagated by social media. It is true that the kid is very cute with the spectacles and funny voice but the point is that nobody noticed his misbehaviour and that too in such a small age. I cannot imagine what made this kid so much harsh at such a young age. Image Courtesy: SocialPakistan.pk It was pretty obvious that this social media stint was going to gain attention from the morning shows and news channels. The kid was invited by all the major channels who are always hunting for the cheap tactics to gain trps. It is humongous that the host was getting readily insulted by the kid in the show. The aspect that gains my attention was that ev

Create Peace Within Yourself

Expectations are perpetually painful! As human beings, we expect something from everybody and everything. For example, A wife has some expectations from her husband and when she doesn't get precisely what she expected then comes the feud in paradise. This is the chief reason for countless divorces, isn't it? I am not asserting that we simply stop expect anything but my point is that in order to bypass the burning feeling of disappointment which further leads to frightful closings of so many relationships we should not expect that our expectations will be answered. The expectation is unquestionably a very solid pillar in every relationship but this pillar relies on a weak foundation and if we apply a plenty of tension on it by solely expecting from the other person it eventually breaks down the entire dwelling of a delicate relationship. No human has the ability to satisfy your expectations. It is as simple as that. We waste our emotions and energies in the wrong dir

Movie review: Sanju.

Image
Watching Sanju was a pending task that I performed today. I am a huge fan of Ranbir Kapoor and I had heard a lot of good things about Sanju as well so today I finally watched the movie. The movie is based on the life of Sanjay Dutt who is a well-known actor and my generation especially love him for his very abstract role in Munna Bhai MBBS. He made us all laughed and cry in that movie with his spectacular performance. The life of Sanjay Dutt has been under the radar of media from the very beginning of his career and this movie really clarified his part of the story. Ranbir Kapoor was outstanding as Sanjay Dutt, beginning from the looks to the portrayal of a typical Sanjay Dutt style of talking and mannerism, he simply took away the show with his performance. There is no doubt in the abilities of Ranbir Kapoor as an actor, he engaged the audience throughout the movie. I personally really enjoyed the first part of the movie where he met Kamli. A scene that I would like to mention as

Allama Iqbal: A vision towards greatness.

We all have our own respected paths, destinations and we all follow them through our own perceptions. The need to identify with your own self is not a new concept and it has sustained for many years. A lot of poets and writers have written about self and how it is so impactful. Recently due to some academic priorities, I had to study Iqbal. I had never been so interested in Urdu language and poetry, however, I had heard about Iqbal's ideologies and how they were so great. I had the chance to explore Iqbal just a little bit and I was blown away. Iqbal has the mindset that was way above the normal thought process, he was actually a thinker. His emphasis on the struggle of Muslims in achieving independence is exceptionally outstanding but his perception about the human abilities is extraordinary. His work actually reflected the value of immensely powerful creation by The Almighty, humans. The humans are called Ashraful makhluqat, which means superior to any other creature but som
