Like every year, this year as well, there was some splendid weddings. The celebrity weddings especially garner a lot of attention because of their media presence and influence on their fans. Many people around the globe keep a very strong look at the wedding festivities and try to gain pictures and videos of the events. It is fair to say that these celebrities work very hard to create a fanbase and they deserve all the attention. This year many popular celebrities got married and the month of December proved to be the most phenomenal in terms of wedding “festivities.”
This couple is extremely popular among the masses. Both the individuals have obtained a lot of fame and success with their powerfully impactful performances. This year a very phenomenal movie called Padmavat was released starring both Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. I personally loved the movie because of the exceptional performances and direction. Moreover, the movie had some outstanding scenes that looked amazing as a viewer. The movie was into the headlines for all the wrong reasons but it still managed to do a great business at the box office. The two stars were not playing a couple in the movie but still, their presence in the movie attracted a huge number of people to the cinemas. They are extremely well-known and hence it was predictable that their wedding was going to break the internet. The couple remained mum about the wedding details in the media and no pictures were released during the functions but later the couple released the official photographs on their official handles on Twitter and Facebook. As soon as the pictures were released, there was an outburst on the internet. People started commenting, scrutinising and admiring their pictures. The couple got married in Italy and hosted 2 receptions in their home country, India. I am not a fashion critic but the couple looked pretty good in their wedding attire. I personally loved Meghan Markle's look at the wedding, it was simple and sweet but there was a lot of criticism on the "fitting" of the dress by the self-acclaimed fashion critics on the social media. Both of them looked remarkably outstanding, especially as the wedded couple. The pictures broke the internet. There were memes and millions of shares on social media. A picture that is especially gained a lot of popularity was of Meghan Markle staring adoringly at her newly wedded husband. It was actually a fairytale wedding, don't you think so?
The two young stars of Pakistani drama industry got married in December. It was a longspun wedding that included more than 6 wedding functions. Every event was exquisitely designed and executed with a lot of coverage from social media. The pictures were shared and many people had a lot to say about them as well. There were 6 different looks from both the bride and groom, all of them were amazing. The social media had a frenzy about the high expenditure on the wedding. My personal favourite look would be from the Nikkah. A video of the actual ceremony went viral in which Aiman was crying while hugging her father. They look adorable together, don't they?
It is greatly significant to understand that wedding is a very personal event but when a celebrity gets married are there are two celebrities who are getting married then it is a mandatory response to get all the attention from the media and the fans. I am no one to judge others but being a celebrity, their life is always under the radar, everyone wants to know what they are doing and it renders a lot of responsibility on them. Most of the people follow all the trends that are initiated by celebrities, for example, the kiki challenge. It doesn't mean that they don't have a personal life or choices but it must be kept in mind that there are millions of people who have a very shrewd look on what they wear and how they conduct their life in general. It is unfair to expect that they would do everything for the fans but the celebrities must try to produce a trend of simplicity and personalization in such private events. Every couple has their own aspirations regarding the wedding and they must do what they want, however, the fans must also understand that the celebrities have a very exceptional and social life. They earn billions of dollars every year (in some cases) and it is not difficult for them to invest a tremendous amount in their own wedding. It is good to idealize celebrities but does not fantasize what they do.

It is very good that the institution of marriage has been embraced and appreciated by the celebrities because, in the previous years in both Bollywood and Hollywood, there were some heartbreaking breakups such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne Khan etc. I personally feel that marriage is very important to keep stability in the society, however, if the relationships get noxious then divorce is highly urged. From an Islamic point of view, divorce is the most hated word of Allah so here's wishing that the next year be full of love and marriages for everyone including the celebrities.
